The Northern Emancipation Network has reacted to Bashir Ibrahim’s outburst against the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, describing it as the ranting of an ant.
Following his sack as chairman of the People’s Democratic Movement, Bashir blamed the former Vice President and vowed a prolonged nasty fight.
Not impressed, the Northern Emancipation Network swiftly tackled Bashir telling him to leave Atiku out of his self-wrought political predicaments.
The reaction, contained in a statement signed by NEN’s Coordinator, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman said Bashir blame his incompetence and failure to carry the people along rather than seek a scapegoat in Atiku Abubakar.
“It has lately become the norm for upstart northern politicians to attempt to vent their pent-up frustrations on respected northern leaders, particularly the former Vice President which is unacceptable.
“It is surprising that Bashir should lump his frustration with the PDM on Atiku who is not even its member at the moment.
“Everybody, including Bashir, know that Atiku is not only a member of the All Progressives Congress but but one of its respected leaders too.
