Agip Begs Nigerian Contractors, Pledges To Pay Before Friday

In a bid to avert planned protest to its headquarters by indigenous contractors working for it, the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), has pleaded with the aggrieved local contractors to wait till Friday for payment.
The Bush and Pipeline Clearing Contractors, and their employees were already converging near the NAOC before the management of the multinational oil company sent an official to plead with the contractor.
The contractors were being owed since June 2016.
They have vowed to occupy the NAOC headquarters in Port Harcourt on Tuesday if the company fails to keep to its pledge.
