The Enugu State Police Command on Sunday explosive attack on the Ukehe country home of Ohaneze President-General, John Nwodo.
The spokesman of the police in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the incident disclosing that no life was lost in the incident.
Unknown person had thrown an explosive device into the compound from outside.
According to the Police Command’s spokesman, the state Commissioner of Police was at the scene of the incident immediately the report of the incident filtered in, adding that “While there, Mr Nwodo, who was not around when the explosion happened, also came in.
“The command is on top of the situation and very soon the perpetrators will be arrested as we have commenced investigation into the incident,” he said.
The explosion caused minor damage to the windows of a smaller building inside the compound, the police said, adding that the command has deployed its officers to secure the area.
